If you think the Apple magic trackpad is just about a trackpad, think again. Why apple wins… Apple innovates and pushes the industry to do the same.
I know this is an early iteration, but it is finally nice to see some real improvement in the online map user experience. Long overdue.
But in the hands of Microsoft, who knows… I look forward to a google approximation with even more improvements.
This battle is just beginning to heat up as geo-location and data invades the real world and the real world continues to invade the digital in more seamless experiences.
This could be a good format for aggregating and ingesting content. Anything that successfully helps curate information is invaluable.

The vending machine utilizes facial recognition to not only detect when people approach, but also attempts to measure their moods. When a user smiles “enough”, he or she is rewarded with free ice cream.
